Mütter Museum Visual Essay

An illustrated profile on the Mütter Museum, a medical history museum in Philadelphia responsible for an artful collection of bizarre, eerie, and educational medical specimens on public display.

I wanted to highlight the uniquely beautiful and macabre energy of the museum. A very important consideration for this poster design was the tone in which the museum presents their work.

Ultimately, the Mütter archive is meant to inform and educate, I wanted to respect this with my visual research..
